About the artist
Kapo, born Juan David Loaiza in Zaragoza, Colombia in 1997 and raised in El Cabuyal near Cali, is a rising star in the Latin music scene. Blending afrobeat, reggae, and vibrant Latin rhythms, Kapo is known for his clean, uplifting lyrics and infectious energy.
Discovered by La Industria Inc., he broke into the international spotlight in 2024 with the hit single "OHNANA", which topped the charts in Spain and led to a high-profile remix featuring Maluma, Farruko, Ryan Castro, and Nicky Jam. Other standout tracks include "UWAIE", "ALOH ALOH", and "ILY" with Myke Towers. He's also collaborated with big names like Manuel Turizo, Danny Ocean, and Ozuna.
In 2025, Kapo kicked off his first U.S. tour, selling out venues nationwide. With performances at iconic stages like the Santiago Bernabéu and the Vallenato Legend Festival, he’s quickly becoming one of Latin urban music’s most promising talents.
